Yesterday, the 2025 Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) continued its 26th annual festival with exciting events, screenings and conversations. The festival hosted a conversation as well as a book signing with authors and “Podcrushed” hosts Penn Badgley, Sophie Ansari and Nava Kavelin in support of their new book “Crushmore: Essays on Love, Loss, and Coming-of-Age” in partnership with Fashion Island as part of StyleWeekOC.
Additionally, the festival hosted the first of this year’s Sunset Series with star Thomas Sadoski where he was honored with the Arts Champion Award. Following the awards presentation, Sadoksi participated in a Q&A for a screening of his new film “Adult Children” with stars, Mimi Rogers, Betsy Brandt, director/producer Rich Newby and writer/producer Annika Marks. The festival closed out the night with a screening of the film “The Neglected” where stars Dylan Sprouse, Josh Duhamel, Elena Sanchez and director David Lipper participated in a Q&A.
