El exitoso influencer venezolano Marko se sumó a la campaña de recaudación de fondos para la operación de la niña Samantha Barrios, que padece retinoblastoma bilateral (cáncer de retina).
“Aquí estoy, vendiendo perros calientes para apoyar a Samantha”, dijo Marko en un video compartido en sus redes, con el que insta a solidarizarse con la niña.
Según la campaña organizada en Gofundme.com, Samantha Barrios fue diagnosticada a los cinco meses con retinoblastoma bilateral, a los ocho le fue enucleado el ojo izquierdo y ha recibido varias sesiones de quimioterapia. En abril de 2023 sufrió una recaída y “actualmente necesita comenzar con radioterapia de urgencia, ya que el tratamiento que se le estaba suministrado no le ayudó a eliminar el tumor de su ojo derecho”.
Su familia pide ayuda para 25 sesiones más de radioterapia, cinco semanas consecutivas bajo sedación y “agradece de corazón el granito de arena que puedan aportar”.
